In the Storm

It has been said that in every life the rain must fall,

but do not be so distracted by the thunder that you miss the call.

Listen very closely and you will hear,

God is telling you He is always near.

When the clouds start to gather and your skies are turning gray,

remember He will never stray.

Whether in the calm or in the storm,

God is right there with you.

He will never leave nor forsake you.

Rainy Days

Here's a little splash of color to brighten your day

because if it has been anything like mine

it has been rainy and grey.

And though i try not to complain,

i do grow weary of all the rain!

Then i hear the rain upon a tin roof,

see the drops make little circles in the puddles outside.

It is then i decide to make the most of the rainy weather

and look for the sun everyday;

whether it is high in the sky

or reflected in a loved one's eyes.

Don't miss out today because the world around you seems so grey.

Remember the Son's love for you is greater than any storm that comes your way!
